alot of torn paper

In a vain effort to inspire me the lovely Di Foster sent me some treasured printed tissue papers so that I could at least bash out a couple of collage style illustrations, and after an awfully long time I managed to produce a very large pile of torn paper and some rather pathetic looking greetings cards....oh well, at least I started!

  1. These are 180 degrees from pathetic! Love the chicken especially. I wore my bracelet today to an art show. It goes with every shred of clothing i have!

  5. okay, here I am .......my Lord, Danielle! I do not even know Meredith Jean, but she knows exactly how I feel about YOU and your amazing talent!!! She is SOOOO right about you needing to be done (already) with the low self esteem. Enough is enough!
(I realize that I suffer from the same self indulgent lack of self confidence and motivation, so I must be careful how I approach this)
You have a talent that holds us in awe. It seems to just "happen" for you without extra effort. From what we see, you can do anything and do it better than we can even dream of doing it. Your special quality is in every piece you do and we think you are incredible.
I know that what we all see is your inspiration and insatiable creativity when we are all together. As I know all too well, when we sit in our own "real lives" it is so much harder to have any perspective on what we are doing and we tend to judge ourselves harshly.

You are so incredible, dear, DEAR Danielle....and I wish it were easier for all of us to get together so that we could luxuriate in our creative life away from our "real" lives.

You know I love you and I think that you are phenomenal....
