poonflower have now delivered me 2 sets of my russian doll fabric, I made a mistake on the dpi sizing when I uploaded the designs and now I have a huge version of the dolls.....seemed like such a good idea at the time, now I have 4 metres of the fabric, no ideas and no time to actually sew them up into anything vaguely interesting!! any ideas?
I'd love to buy some at either size! You got wonderful colour saturation from those files....

Dear, Dear Danielle- Sil vous plait....toot sweet (!).....attach a zipper onto these dolls, somehow, anyhow!!!!!!!!, and get them on your Etsy shop so I can buy them!!!!!! The fabric is gorgeous, and anything you create out of it will be wonderful! When you've come up with some prototypes, I strongly suggest you take them right over to Liberty of London and show them to someone in charge where ever it is that they now sell "notions". That is what I look for when I am snooping around Liberty and Bon Marche......little bags for cosmetics, jewelry, coins, charge cards, glass cases, etc. There is one company that does these darling little fabric things in a plastic coated material that is wonderful for travel. Go for it, girlfriend!!!!!!! You are in my thoughts and heart, BIG TIME! Take good care dear friend! LOVE- Oolie
ReplyDeleteYES YES put a contrast back on them, stuff them and hang them on cords for decorations. Make good luck dolls. Make stuffed dolls and create bunting from them. Do the bags, any bags as Oolie suggests. The fabric is AMAZING!!! Just do something. You are the most creative and talented person I know xxx
