seem to have become a little fixated with the idea of collage-which is basically alot of tearing, glueing and then wondering why I have been making such a mess on the dining room table! Was inspired by some russian dresses in the christmas issue of selvedge....I love the idea of the same dress pattern collaged in different patterns....Jone reckons I should hang them all in a row with little wire coat hangers...
Danielle- Definitely hang them up!!! They are just gorgeous, and must be seen!!!! I am really into the idea of banners for some reason, so I could envision them hanging together on a lovely silk cord all in a row. Sounds like your dining room table looks like mine....we've given up eating on it!!!! If I saw the dresses on beautiful card stock in our card shop here, I would buy them all up in an instant.....and then be searching for the matching wrapping paper!!!! Keep tearing up and glueing! LOVE- Oolie
ReplyDeleteOolie just told me that you should take these lovelies to Liberty, in the fabric section, and sell them! Imagine them framed in shadow boxes - either individually or three in one, as the photo you have taken.
ReplyDeleteThey are exquisite, my friend - elegant and sophisticated and YOU are extraordinary....
These little dresses definitely have an addictive quality - they are darling. More more!
ReplyDeleteDANIELLE! THESE ARE EVERY BIT AS DELIGHTFUL AS WE EXPECTED THEM TO BE. SURPRISINGLY ENOUGH I DIDNT HAVE TIME YET TO DO MINE BUT I WILL. PLEASE SHOW THEM WHEN THEY ARE ALL STRUNG TOGETHER - DEFINITELY THE WAY FORWARD. I LOVE YOUR PUFFED SLEEVES - GENIUS!

Love these dresses Danielle. They would look so cute hung up-maybe on paper mache hangers. Have you submitted the rabbits?
ReplyDeleteDanielle these are just gorgeous, I saw the item got all misty eyed and failed to do anything -unlike you!!!!
